The Dogue de Bordeaux are a healthy breed as compared to other mastiff breeds. They need long daily walks to exhaust their energies. Lack of exercise can lead to behavioural issues. Their face wrinkles require regular cleaning to avoid skin infection. Their short coat does not require much of grooming effort but they tend to drool in hot weather so it is better to carry hand towel during long walks.
