Compared to other dogs they are one of the healthiest breeds. Being low shedding dogs they are easy to groom. They are not good in cold weather but do well in a warm climate. Their eyes need regular cleaning and their teeth should be checked regularly for tartar build up. Owners tend to love them too much and end up making them obese. So being an apartment dog daily walks are required.
